TRW Weekly Report For May 24th-28th,2010

Bear, Bull, Bear, Bear, Bear. That was the market trend for last week to close at 26,784.90 points.

The resistance of 27,000 points which we've been noting over the past couple of weeks, seems to have been broken and spooked traders directions in panic sells loosing a whooping 3.49%.

Traders are now wondering if this downward momentum is a brief period of consolidation before the bulls step in again.

From a technical perspective, it is still too early to tell. Specifically, the Relative Strength index has recently fallen from overbought levels (above 70), which is used by bearish traders as a sell signal. This points to a downward move in the indexes, but you'll notice that the RSI value on the charts of the major indexes is near 43.80, and last support line was RSI 35.16, This reading generally suggests that the supply and demand aspects of the stock are nearing a balancing point.

Market might likely find support/rebound around its 28th April range of:

NSE 30 readings: RSI 48.99. Last support RSI-35.92
NSE BANKING readings: RSI 42.08 support RSI 58.35
NSE FBT readings: RSI 58.35, Support RSI 45.24
NSE INS readings: RSI 36.02, Support RSI 30.21
