TRW Weekly
Report For April 19th-23rd,2010
NSE ASI YTD indices as at friday
stands at 34.39%, while the NSE FBT YTD is 56.16%.
So far so good, the Nigerian Stock
market has done well showing good signs of growth in the emerging
markets and restored once again investors confidence back to the
market.
Market activities this week after
a Long rally did send panic waves as some cracks started to show up
in some stocks. This pullback market needed to retrace itself before
another rally.
The new rally closing at an All
time High of 27.998.71 points as market unfolds will act as a
BREAKOUT or FADEOUT. Why?
Market is in a MIXED MODE as Less
than 10% of stocks are currently at these New Highs, while 90% are
just starting an upward trend.
From a Technical view,
1. Most stocks RSI readings are
within its 50 points and above range signaling the BULLS are still
very much around,
2. Daily time frame MACD Histogram
have broken the Zero line into a negative region with MACD showing a
SELL Signal. While the Weekly/Monthly time frame looks good on the
chart.
3. Divergence: Stocks indicators
are trading in a Lower High range while prices are not,(negative
divergence) with chart patterns of Double Top, and HEAD & SHOULDERS
beginning the form.
The Good news is some of the
stocks are in a corrective mode, and their Medium/Long term frames
are looking Strong.
From my personal view I will go
Short when stocks starts hitting its last High, and Go Long if
these resistant lines are broken on a High Volume.
