TRW WEEKLY REPORT FOR 27TH-30TH OF SEPTEMBER 2010.

It was another week of negative returns as the NSE ASI continue to push Lower for the third consecutive week, taking us back to January Highs of 22,544 points level,
which will likely act as areas of intermediate support, if it rebounds and could have a major influence on the market direction this coming week. 

Even though positive news dominated the headlines, things are not as bleak as they sound when you look at the returns that the market has been able to produce. Last week's gain completed the worst monthly performance in the markets since  2008 sliding 1,552 points from 24,241 to 22,689.

The sharp rally that started from May now leaves many investors wondering when this drop will stop.

From a technical perspective, several key indicators, such as the weekly relative strength index , are nearing 30 points range and has acted as rebound regions, The MACD Histograms are etching up to its positive zone, which suggests that the downside could be limited from here on out.
 

Key index to watch in the week ahead will be the NSE BANKING (a double bottom pattern is formation around the 326 level, If this level holds then  it could trigger a short-term shift in sentiment.

A break below this level will hit 314 points range.
