TRW WEEKLY
REPORT FOR 30TH AUGUST TO 3RD SEPT.2010.
It was an interesting week to
say the least. Tuesday, the markets opened with a gap lower, and
there was a sharp follow-through lower on Wednesday as the NSE ASI
broke a critical support level of 25,000
points and crashed to 24,111
points after completing a Head & Shoulder pattern. Once again the
markets threatened to begin a larger correction, but by the end of
the week they had regained some of their losses closing at
24,274.51.
The lows formed this week
will need to be watched as a possible turning point for the markets
on the intermediate term time frame. It's possible that the markets
are setting up for a new trading range after the
September 1st deadline by CBN
to limit banks exposure to the stock market down by
10%.
The recent Low recorded this
week has taken us back to March levels where Index gapped from
24,200 to 26,400 to 27,900
points range, If this current rally occurs, bear in mind that a lot
of Selling pressure will be met.
The key rallies to watch are
If market starts building up forming Higher Lows and if they start
crossing the 15 day Moving averages and 14 day RSI readings are
above 50.
