TRW WEEKLY REPORT FOR
2ND TO 6TH AUGUST 2010.
WELCOME TO AUGUST
The first 2 weeks of of July
saw the NSE ASI continue a downward pattern inherited from JUNE. A
drop from 25,400 points to
24,500. Then the BREAKOUT on the 22nd
of July saw the market close at 25,844.18, A Month Till Date score
of 1.88 points. Thanks to the
signing to Law of the AMCON BILL
Technically
The last days of the month
saw the markets pausing near their mid June highs within a 65 Day
Moving Average of 25,900 points and
basically pulling back within these region, while the pullback looks
constructive so far, traders need to be on alert for a failure here.
Ultimately, all eyes should be on the 50%
Fibonacci Line of 25,700 range for a
rebound.
Though the Index
could not break 25,900 resistant line several individual stocks
outperformed the Index.
Overall, the markets
remain in a trading range, and are beginning to back away from
resistance near the June highs, not much has changed in the grand
scheme of things. The markets remain in a small consolidation after
2 week’s strong rally and they have plenty of room before the
pullback will be a threat to last week's pivot High. Heading into
Friday, it looks like the markets still have more consolidation
ahead and it may take a few days before a resolution appears.
However, traders should be on high alert as the markets could be
setting up for a good move soon since we are trading above RSI 50
(BULLISH RANGE) If the markets clear their June highs, it could lead
to a surge higher; if they break our target point will be 25,000
points range.
Either way, a
trend move should be near.
