IS SANTA CLAUS RALLY LOOSING MOMENTUM?Market closed marginally up by 11.30 points closing the NSE ASI at 24,765.60. With Banking sector dominating Top 5, shows today's action is a healthy continuation of the short term bull trend since the rebound on Wednesday. Today saw lack of volume as overall trades were valued at N1.8bn. It sure looks like this week's market action is going to shadow last week's as investors continue to stay on the sidelines, not wanting to be the hero. Well, just 1 more day to 2011. Lets see what tomorrow's trading has in Line for us. I am going to sum up the year and make my forecasts for 2011 on Tuesday, so , stay tuned. NB: TRADING HOURS WILL BE FROM 9AM-12PM TOMORROW
